Hamazons Stage Grants Pass Performance For Mother's Day
THE HAMAZONS PRESENT “MAMA KNOWS BEST” IN GRANTS PASS
The Hamazons will celebrate Mother’s Day with “Mama Knows Best,” an evening of comedy and improvisation, on Saturday, May 10, at 8 p.m. at the Rogue Building on the Rogue Community College Redwood campus in Grants Pass.
The Hamazons – Deborah Elliott, Bobbi Kidder, Carolyn Myers and Cil Stengel – invite their audience to come dressed in festive formal wear. As always, special dress is optional.
“Current pop culture to the contrary, The Hamazons succeed because they meet two of our deepest needs – the need to laugh and the need to live with each other in kindness and respect,” said Nancy Golden in W3 Magazine. “For The Hamazons, performing is a high-risk adventure, backed by a loving mission. For their audience, the show is a happy, no-risk place to play with [four] clever women’s very funny inner children.”
General admission tickets are $12 and available in Grants Pass at The Book Stop, 212 SW Sixth Street, and in Ashland at Heart & Hands, 255 E. Main Street. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Wiseman and the Firehouse Galleries in Grants Pass.
For information only, call 541-488-4451.
Upcoming Ham shows include: July 4 "Hamazons for Peace," October 31 "Boo! It's The Hamazons!" and December 13 "Home for the Holidays -- A Hamily Reunion." Hope you can join us!
